A Little About Me

 

Hi, my name is Matthew Fairman and I am a Conservatoire trained Professional Classical Violinist, Classical Pianist/Jazz Pianist and Teacher. (You can hear samples of my playing by clicking the Repertoire tab above).

I live in Bournemouth, Dorset and work throughout the UK and abroad. 

During the years of 1990-1998 my full time job was Sub-Principal First Violin with the Bournemouth Sinfonietta.

Since 1998 I have combined a free-lance playing career with teaching.

For the 2014-15 season I was Official Accompanist for La Nova Singers.

For the past few years I have been working regularly as a Solo Pianist and Ensemble Player at Hanbury Manor (Five Star Marriot Hotel near Ware in Herfordshire).
